This perfromance will paralell the Frank Sinatra and Count Basie perfromances of the early 60's at the Sands Hotel in Las Vetas. Dance To The Music When: Wednesday, August, 13, 2008, 7:30 PM Where: Players Pub-Bloomington, IN Get out those dancing shoes and "dance to the music" The Stardusters Swing Band, with vocalist Janiece Jaffe, will be swingin' away presenting big band sounds from this compact 8 piece group. There are not many venues in Bloomington where you can dance to the sounds of a live band. Players Pub is one of the few that regularily offers a dance floor, live music and great food.

Fountain Square Theatre Swing Dance When: Friday, September, 12, 2008, 7:30 to 11:30 PM Where: Fountain Square Theatre Ballroom-Indianapolis Swing dancing is still hot as evidenced by the crowds that will be joining the Stardusters Swing Band for an evening of big band swing. The Stardusters have performed for this dance series for the past 3 years and are looking forward to continuing in 2008. The Fountain Square Theatre Ballroom event provides a swing dance lesson led by members of the Naptown Stomp Dance Club from 7:30 to 8:30 followed by dancing to the music of the Stardusters Swing Band until 11:30 PM.

The little band with the big band sound will be performing swing music from the big band era as well as todays more contemporary swing of Big Bad Voodoo Daddy and Cherry Poppin' Daddies. Victory Days When: Friday, October, 03, 2008, All Day Where: Terre Haute International Airport-Terre Haute, Indiana This is an event not to miss. Starting October 3rd. and running Friday, Saturday and Sunday. What is Victory Days. Victory Days will commemorate both military and civilian life as it was during WWII, honoring those who lived that time period.
See WWII vintage aircraft and other military vehicles. See Vintage Cars of the 40's. Take a trip through the past with hundreds of memorabilia vendors. Tale an ride is WWII B-17 bomber.
Enjoy a social evening Friday at the Hanger Dance. See a USO style show featuring the reenactment of the Andrew Sisters, The Modernaires and The Glenn Miller Army Air Force Band. This event will include dinn, dancing and a show.
Saturday Evening enjoy the Hollywood Canteen as it was presented by Bette Davis and other hollywood stars in the 40's.

Dancing With The Celebrities When: Saturday, May, 23, 2009, 7:00 PM Where: Buskirk Chumley Theatre Dancing With The Celebrities returns to the Buskirk Chumley Theatre for an evening of compitiion and fun. Last years event was a huge success.
DWTC is an evening of competitive dancing as well as dancing by the audience. Proceeds from this event go to local charities chosen by our celebrities.
